By placing an order on this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. It is illegal to supply fireworks to persons under 18 years of age. It is also illegal to attempt to buy fireworks online if you are under 18 years. All of our fireworks on this website conform to the British Standard BS7114:2:88 and are classified for carriage as 1.4G UN0336 Fireworks. All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling and include VAT.
All information included on this website is provided in good faith. Please note that most of our descriptions are as supplied by the manufacturer. Descriptions and videos of effects may differ from the actual product supplied due to various reasons including changes in the manufacturing process. All descriptions, product measurements and timings are to be treated as an approximate guide. We do our very best to ensure that these are 100% accurate, however we accept no liability for any errors. We reserve the right to make substitutions of a greater or equal value where necessary.
All special offers are subject to availability, while stock lasts, one per customer. Prices and offers are only available on this website, and may not be available in our retail outlets.
Where the total amount of explosives contained in any fireworks supplied to an individual or company is greater than 50 kg net weight, we are required by The Fireworks Regulations 2004 to obtain the name and address of the person we are supplying the fireworks to, the date of supply, and the details of any person to whom our customer proposes to further supply the fireworks to. We are not able to supply you with the fireworks unless you provide us with this information, and it is an offence to supply information that you know or believe to be incorrect.
Payment is accepted by credt card, debit card or PayPal. All goods remain the property of Star Fireworks Ltd until payment is received in full. In the event that payment is rejected we reserve the right to recover the goods. Security and risk of damage to goods is the responsibility of the purchaser from the moment collection or delivery takes place.
Shipping and Claims
When you receive your fireworks please check you have the correct number of items before signing. Claims for loss or damage will not be accepted unless stated on the 'proof of delivery' form and notified to Star Fireworks within 48 hours of receipt of goods.
Please note that the carriers do not always deliver the full consignment at the same time. Delivery times are given as a guide and are not guaranteed. We will make our best effort to despatch goods without delay, but despatch may be delayed if an item is not in stock or is being stored at a remote warehouse. Please advise us through the 'please enter the date of your event' field on our web order form if you require goods by a specific date.
Carriers will not deliver fireworks unless someone can sign for the goods at the delivery address. In the event of the carrier being unable to deliver to an address due to no-one being available to sign for the goods, and a repeat delivery attempt is made, we reserve the right to pass on any additional costs imposed by the carrier, to the customer.
Distance Selling Regulations
Where applicable the company complies with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. We offer a seven day cancellation period from the date of receipt of the goods by the customer. This cancellation period does not extend to special orders, i.e orders which have been custom assembled at the customers request and is therefore, not an off the shelf item, this includes modified kits and kits with additional items. Fireworks are hazardous goods and as such can only be returned to us by a specialised carrier. Upon receipt of written confirmation of cancellation Star Fireworks will notify the customer of how and when the goods are to be collected. In the event of cancellation a charge may be levied to the customer for collection and will be retained from any refund given, as will the cost of delivery. Charges will not apply where a shortage of goods or damage to the goods is our fault, and where a claim has been notified to us within 3 days of receipt of the goods.
